At Renewal Counseling Centers, we believe counseling should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and supported.

We provide warm, grounded, and practical counseling for individuals, couples, children, teens, and families. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or a difficult season of life, we're here to help you move forward.

Our office is located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and we serve clients throughout Baldwin County while also offering secure telehealth counseling throughout Alabama.

Individual Counseling

$125 Per Session

Support for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. 

Individual counseling provides a confidential space to explore what you're experiencing, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for meaningful change.

Couples Counseling

$150 Per Session

Support for couples working through communication challenges, conflict, disconnection, trust, and relationship changes. 

Couples counseling can help partners improve communication, work through conflict, rebuild connection, and develop healthier relationship patterns.

Family & Group Counseling

$175 Per Session

Support for families or groups in working through conflict, communication challenges, life changes, and the desire to reconnect. 

Family and group counseling provides an opportunity to improve communication, address relational challenges, and build healthier and more supportive connections.

At Renewal Counseling Centers, we want getting started with counseling to feel as simple and straightforward as possible.

We currently participate with Aetna and Cigna and are actively pursuing participation with several additional insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Because insurance benefits and coverage can vary by plan, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to confirm your specific mental health benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and coverage requirements.

Have insurance but don't see your plan listed? You may still have options.

Depending on your individual insurance plan, you may have out-of-network mental health benefits that allow you to submit your counseling expenses for potential reimbursement.

Renewal Counseling Centers is happy to provide an insurance-specific, itemized receipt or invoice upon request that includes information you may need to submit to your insurance company for consideration of reimbursement.

Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee reimbursement or determine your insurance benefits. Reimbursement is determined by your individual insurance plan and may depend on your deductible, out-of-network benefits, coinsurance, plan exclusions, and other requirements.

Before beginning services, we recommend asking your insurance provider:

• What is my out-of-network deductible? 
• What percentage of the allowed amount is reimbursed after my deductible? 
• Is there a limit on the number of therapy sessions covered? 
• Do I need prior authorization or a referral?

Your HSA or FSA may help make counseling more affordable.

Renewal Counseling Centers accepts eligible Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) payment methods for counseling services.

Using eligible HSA or FSA funds may allow you to use pre-tax dollars toward qualifying healthcare expenses.

If you're unsure whether your specific account can be used for counseling, we recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider or plan administrator.

We understand that counseling is an investment, and we don't want financial concerns to automatically prevent someone from reaching out.

A limited number of financial-assistance appointments may be available based on individual circumstances and availability.

If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you may be entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before receiving services.

A Good Faith Estimate provides an estimate of the expected cost of scheduled services.
